Transport Administrator

Temp Station are delighted to announce we are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join a busy and established freight forwarding client in the Normanton WF6 area on a permanent basis.


Transport Administrator job description:

  • Manage the group trailer pool allocation
  • Ensure all sub-contractor invoices are processed in a timely manner in line with company cut off dates
  • Run the internal invoices through the TMS on a weekly basis
  • Work closely with the planning team & operations to ensure data input is accurate
  • Be the first point of contact to the UK domestic customer database (taking on bookings / answering queries regarding a booking)
  • Invoicing any UK customer bookings once the job is completed.
  • Providing quotes to customers via calls and emails
  • Provide holiday cover for planning assistant where required
  • MUST have 2 years’ experience working in a transport environment
