Temp Station are delighted to announce we are currently recruiting a Transport Administrator to join a busy and established freight forwarding client in the Normanton WF6 area on a permanent basis.
Transport Administrator job description:
- Manage the group trailer pool allocation
- Ensure all sub-contractor invoices are processed in a timely manner in line with company cut off dates
- Run the internal invoices through the TMS on a weekly basis
- Work closely with the planning team & operations to ensure data input is accurate
- Be the first point of contact to the UK domestic customer database (taking on bookings / answering queries regarding a booking)
- Invoicing any UK customer bookings once the job is completed.
- Providing quotes to customers via calls and emails
- Provide holiday cover for planning assistant where required
- MUST have 2 years’ experience working in a transport environment
